The repair spell mends items restoring them to better condition. This would be a fairly low level spell, and would probably see the most use in repairing items that normally can't be mended or forged such as Ivory or wood. Each casting would restore the item one step toward brand new

I was thinking of a similar spell that is only for warlocks and would allow them to repair stone, flame, water, and air items.

I would rather see it just restore it to brand new in one cast. Put a timer on the spell, 2-5 minutes between casts. It should be difficult to pour energy into something and force it to stitch it back together.

Caster echo when ready to cast again:
You steel your mind and nerves, ready to attempt to pour yourself into reforging an item to new.

Success:
Itemname glows a pale white as the item returns to newly forged condition.

Failed with save:
Itemname glows briefly with pale white energy, but nothing else happens.

Failed without save (drops it down another quality catagory):
Itemname begins to glow pale white, turning a violent red as new cracks appear upon the item.

Epic fail:
A soft hiss escapes from itemname as energy seethes out of it like a mist causing it to evaporate into nothing.

The further from brand new status it is, the more energy it would take to restore it.

This would be a neat spell for warlocks.

This has been brought up a bazillion times. Here's one example.

[Edit I don't know why that doesn't make a linky thing.]
