This is to discuss the possibility of being able to use the "trip" command while prone. How would it impact the game? Do you think it is a good idea? Any tweaks you might place on it, restrictions, bonuses/penalties? EDIT: I didn't come up with this idea, so I take no credit for it. |

Swashie only. Mercs do not need a buff like this. |

I think swashies should be able to bypass a lot while prone, maybe even quaff. Maybe even everything except flee. I think a really quick person could easily trip or dirt someone while prone himself, or get something out of his bag and quaff it, or taunt from the ground. But it sounds like a coding nightmare. |

I'd like to see swashies trip while prone, and scouts about to shoot a bow while prone too. |

scouts should also get close combat shot... ie shoot while in melee |

I have! But what's to stop me from hooking my bow around my feet, and using both arms to draw back the bow string while prone? And shooting while melee is tough really hard to get time to shoot an arrow, but in this world a person can shoot arrows as fast as someone can swing a dagger so I don't think RL logic applies. |

Simple solution. Take trip from Mercs, they still have bash. Make trip usable while prone. Buff to bards, swashies and rogues. |
