This struck me as odd. Apparently heavy armor priests got lighten load as a bonus, and cloth have the very useful break enchantment thing. What about them light armor priests? Where's the love? - Arguably, light armor faiths have some of the more useful religion spells, but I still find more incentive in playing a heavy armor faith that has lighten load -and- a nifty spell to boot. It's just more versatility. As for what spell light armor priests could get, that's a story to discuss if you guys feel something needs to be changed first. I am after all an observer from the outside, at this point. Could be as simple as giving them prayer or aid, though. |

Light armor faiths were purposefully left alone because they are supposed to have the best religious spells. This might not work perfectly in practice. We could rank the religious spells according to usefulness and discuss which light armor religious spells need a buff. I would get the ball rolling by making my own list, but my understanding is that a some of the religious spells have been buffed since I stopped playing, so maybe someone else can do that. I'm fairly confident that at least this much is still true, though: 1. Thuban (light armor) 2. Ain (light armor) For at least these two faiths, there absolutely does not need to be added incentive. Their religious spells are complete game changers. |

I would argue that energize is extremely useful as well if it bas not been changed, and lighten load is sort of a game changer in its own right for those that cannot get it off a NPC. |

Cloth was supposed to get the strongest spells + remove compulsion, and then light just strong spells, last I checked. |

To change what I said: Light armor priests get interdiction! Cause no one rolls a light armor priest unless it's Ain amirite? And therein lies the problem. No system is perfect, sure, but when one or two religions are getting more attention then others, perhaps something can be done that does not include the age old tried tactic 'okay lets nerf everything back to where it was'. :p |
