The Oubliette
Oubliette - a place of forgetting. A black hole, the walls slick and
smooth to defeat any hope of climbing. Within head height of the floor,
the stone is scratched and marked, pinioned with the occasional loose
finger nail or two of some other unfortunate. But the markings of ascent
go no higher. The floor is littered with the filth of putrefying corpses
left here to rot and liquefy. There is no way out, lest it be through
magic or the gift of wings.
Obvious exits: u
(Charmed) An Uxmaln wildcat crouches here, ready to pounce.

in case it wasn't clear the implication is that you should enjoy playing the game for your character instead of whining on the forums about a fairly harmless lol

To put what Patri-rawr said in politer terms: Rooms like this exist. It sucks to be caught in them, but it's kind of like dying. You just need to ask a friendly character to help bail you out.

thx no I thought it was funny. Figured he was trolling or just lashing out because that what people do when they know there is no consequence as opposed to a face to face conversation.

Oh. Might help to put your funny moments in Favorite Quotes! Less of a chance to be misconstrued.

I have to say I agree with Paty on this one. Send a tell to a friend. Rooms like this give SK flavor and show the harsh world it can be. It's not like the lamp which is one of these rooms that move. It's easily escaped.

Actually, believe it or not, if you happen to wear the "item" in that room. You'll find yourself unable to speak, cast, or send tells at all. So, combine that with the inability to recall? Might want to do the math, aye aye~♫

Edit: And yes...very very harsh..

Such a classic Imperial punishment back in the day.
