So, I'm a big fan of http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/desc_editor because I like colors but I'm lazy. I don't know that it's ever worked with Firefox for me, but I could always head back to the dark ages and IE long enough to prettify my text. Now, however, IE is failing me as well--neither it nor Firefox has the toolbar appear. Is it broken or am I? If I try Chrome might that work? Does it work for anyone else? Help me procrastinate, ye goodfolk of SK, and do so with color! |

Chrome doesn't work. You have two options, open IE or get IE tabs for firefox, although mine aren't working currently. |

Ah, see, the relevant part of my prior post was that while heretofore IE DID work for me, now it does NOT. If IE DOES work for you, however, that is useful input that points to the brokenness being on my end of things. Also, neener to whoever picked the least helpful options in my admittedly mostly frivolous poll  S'not like I do blinking descs!

I'll count a positive comment as useful, even if not entirely germane to the topic.  Especially to counteract the votes that don't want me (although I included that option with you in mind, as I recall you've commented on my love of colored descs in the past, and wouldn't be surprised were you one of the votes )Glad to be back! I reckon (I confess?) SK owns a part of me, and if I ever get to missing that bit I get pulled back to Pyrathia. If we haven't all uploaded ourselves into some vast computer consciousness by then, rendering text-based gaming moot, I'll doubtless still want to MUD from a nursing home, gnarled arthritic fingers shaking over the keyboard as I type "emtoe" instead of "emote", still reminiscing about the good ol' days when people really RPed, not like the junk-loot-spit punks nowadays... Also, somewhat more apropos, my Firefox refuses to acknowledge that any add-on might be available, let alone an Internet Explorer. This could be due to my sucky connection though. |

Description editor? Wow.. I have no recollection of that even being added. It's sometimes scary how long SK has been going at this point. |

You mean people actually use that garbage? Kinda just figured everyone was like Smoochy and wrote out their descriptions...no matter have bad they write them~♫ |
