It already gives the recipient spirit disorientation. If it is changed to give the priest SD, too, I can guarantee more people will be using the death quest and reincarnate. I would simply refuse any and all resurrections, if I got SD from it.

Back in old school D&D it use to cost priests a 10th of their life ... so it just didnt happen. You know what that meant meant for one life people for the vast majority of players. Well a cool idea it is not for a place as deadly as shattered kingdoms.

The issue is game play, the person who made the mistake should be the one paying the price not the person helping them. Priests are already the most valuable commodity in SK, why make them even more valuable. Having said that nothing is stopping you from RPing it and seeing how it works in practice.
