Shattered Kingdoms

I've seen similar things on other MUDs, though I'll admit my building experience is limited, and my coding experience non-existent.
Still, it seems like a fun idea to be able to purchase and name my own ship (sort of the way we do pets) equipped with seige weapons, to sack coastal cities with trebuchettes, catapults, scorpions, and ballistas. It may even be possible to have a small crew, or for multiple players to board one ship. It actually stands to reason. The Empire is primarily a maritime empire, and most of the other countries also have coast lines on the ocean. It stands to reason that naval power would not be forgotten by them.
I'm just wondering what the other players think of this idea.

While I for one think anything approaching having Knightmare Frames would be a great step, I just don't see vehicle-based combat... on any horizon.

So in my head I am picturing cabal defense, though at sea. Siege weapons mounted on a mobile platform, with ranged combat also being plausible.

Ships for navigation, or ocean-swimming mounts would be appreciated. Everyone just flies these days, it's too magical.

Just use HM03 on your current pet and boom.

I first would like to see land mounts that will hold multiple people.

Such as a war wagon, or a carriage? Those might be neat, too.

Where else would they have coast lines?

Gulfs....and inlets and seas. Duh
