So i notice that containers take weapon damage. If you add armor protection to it will it boost your protection of your body?

AFAIK, it is considered a trinket (ring/necklace/bracelets) and therefore can't have any AP put on it. Double check the help file, it should say.

[edit] Yep it's an item not armor and therefore not subject to be enchanted with AP

Code:
- item: treasure, containers, lights, tools, pens, books

I am talking about taking a skin before it is a backpack enchanting it then turning it into a backpack.

Didn't they remove the ability to do that?

Wow, it's like the blind leading the blind in this thread.

Containers provide no armor protection at all.

Wow, talk about the deaf and dumb, he wasn't talking about the container providing armor bonus, he was talking about AP.

I'm going to quote this post so you have a chance to re-read it a few times until you see your own failure. Then I'm going to leave it up in case you want to edit the original to hide it.

I'll give you a chance to reread the entire thread again, and what I was saying. Keep failing, that is what you are good at though.

The container slot is not an armor slot.

I believe any reasonable person can draw the right conclusion from that much information.

You also cannot enchant a skin that has not been changed into an appropriate piece of armor/container.
