Simple and effective idea. All kingdoms should have a deportation/immigration system like Teron. The fact that tribunal leaders are required to oblige the deportee no matter the circumstances supports that there is little reason to require another player to be responsible for this action.

I have no problem with self deportation, but immigration should always be done via with someone that represents that nation. Should more people be given the right to immigrate? Heck yeah. Just like f2's can invest there should be an equivalent version for tribs.

I suppose I can see your point on immigration though at the same time, I don't think that should be an issue considering the fact that you aren't then forced to join the local tribunal. Who cares what the tribunal thinks if you don't plan on becoming a member?

If nothing else, I would be happy to see that all tribunal members have the ability to deport upon request ONLY. I could see this becoming an issue at some point when angers flare, but it's worth the risk if Dulrik isn't willing to make the switch to a self deportation/immigration system.

Abuse of the immigration, basically it is a check system to make sure that delves don't become ayamaoan citizens, somehow. That sorta thing.

What if it was a 'paperwork' kinda system. Go to the judge of your city, request deportation. go to the judge of the place you wanna go. Request immigration. When the trib leader logs on, they are informed "So'n'so is requesting immigration to your city." It will auto inform you upon login until you 'accept' or 'decline' the immigration request? Sort of takes away from RP, but there isn't ever really much rp in deportation.

"hey, why do you want to leave?" "I like it there better." "okay, off with you."

Thoughts?

Edit: The accept/decline feature would make sure that you weren't inducting someone just based off of their name. You can ask around or keep an eye out for them so you actually can rp it a bit.

I am not sure on how the staff feels, but I think deportation could be done as described, but the immigration should still follow the current tribunal oversight. I suppose its really up to the Kingdom Director if they want to create such.

If deportation was changed in this way, I would consider that a big step in the right direction. I can certainly agree that the immigration portion would have possible abuse, no big loss. Deportation is the important one, as most of us contact the Tribunal Leader before we ever attempt deportation anyway.

Agreed. Self deportion would always lead to Teron.
