Ever since what I think was the hoarding update, I'm not able to pull everything out of my backpack at one time. I feel like it was a very useful feature to be able to do and I'm curious as to why it was changed. Anyone wanna take a stab at this one? Thanks. |

One of the consequences of this change will be the inability to whip out a million mistletoe or heal vials during a fight. I believe this is an interestingly flexible implementation of Jerin's low item-count idea. |

You are right. I fixed this bug/loophole on Jan 1st at the same time as some new anti-hoarding code went in. After many requests, containers will now be de-hoarded during monthly updates. This causes items inside the vanished bag to be spilled into the next level up container or inventory. If these items landed in your inventory, chances are you are now carrying more than you are allowed. Accordingly, you can no longer move if you are over your max carrying allowance (as has long been the case with weight). I then fixed this loophole at the same time for consistency and to avoid accidental overdraw causing fleeing problems in battle. |

Question, since I don't think you directly addressed the OP and I'm now curious. Does this mean if you have, say, 30 heal vials in your backpack, and you type get all.heal backpack, but you only have inventory space for, say, 2 more items, you will not be able to get all your heals from your backpack? |

Correct. |

Does this mean if one throws three huge axes at most blinded characters, they'll effectively be rooted in place? |

Good question. |

Also, if your inventory is full and you rem all, will you not be able to remove anything? And this change is here to stay? I see it as an inconvenience, but respect your descision regardless. |

This is a pretty terrible change, particularly given how thrown objects and ranged combat function. Also a major pain in the [REDACTED] for scouts and any ranged-spec merc. |

It might not be all bad. NPCs might follow these new rules, too... maybe we'll see fewer villagers carrying 30 throwing spears around. |
