Is there a correlation in a particular nation's economic state and what items are made available for purchase in the stores?

I noticed some high quality items for sale I had never seen before in an economically booming region. Was just wondering if this was builder-related, coded into the economics, or a result of the de-hoarding code.

Depending upon the item, it may have been something that just hadn't been available due to hoarding or something that had been sold to the shopkeep for coins by a player.

Each store's inventory is static, not tied to the economy, but probably about 1/3 of stores will purchase excess gear from you and then turn around and sell it.
