Not everyone wants to be a leader. Why not issue tokens for playing 50 hours a month? |

The last thing a brutal game like SK would benefit from is the gameplay expectation reinforced by the implementation of Participation Trophies. Right now the reward of showing up is the removal of the punishment of losing your elite gear. SK is Gygaxian at its core and should remain Gygaxian on its surface. |

Frankly, I really like this idea. I average 1-2 tokens a month since I first started playing, but I play all the time. |

Leadership already grants LT. |

Loyalty tokens should be rewarded to regular players who aren't/don't want leader slots and are not part of groups who keep passing enlights back and forth. I've seen far too many instances of good rp being unrewarded while people who just act the same across all characters end up with paragon every other month. 50 hours/month seems like a perfect place to set the bar for loyal players to earn a very small amount of tokens. |

My inbox is open for logs of good roleplay, and I will be happy to hand out rewards. If I don't see it, I can't reward it. I know several paragons have the same policy. Likewise, paragon abuse is one of those things that can easily be debunked or confirmed if you suspect people are being nepotists: Report them. |

There are 58 leadership positions in the game. Out of the 406 different relationships between these leadable groups, only 16% of all these could result in obligatory PK. Even then, that obligatory PK happens in just 25% of all 660 diplomatic scenarios you could be involved with. |

It is nice to earn some tokens, and not everyone might have stellar rp that will earn them lots of rewards. I am thinking off myself when I first started the game, and since positive re-enforcement is much nicer then negative, why not let someone earn a token for playing a bit. Anything that helps boost our player base, even with that grumpy old Ardith is a good thing. I would also recommend tokens given for small CRS victories and maybe two or three for great victories. Heck, I could even see a very hard quest giving tokens. Not everyone keeps logs to forward for rewards. I have to copy paste telnet if I really want to keep something for later. 50 hours for a token will earn you a free rez in 1000 hours! EDIT: I also feel like earned tokens should be usable for any character you have confirmed with your email. |
