So in 'help roleplay', there is a diagram Alignment -> Religion -> Faction -> Relationships My question is, which is more important, Cabal or Tribunal? Is there a set Imm stance, or is it up to the character. Given that you can only have 1 char in a cabal and they tend to have more involved oaths/etc, I suspect maybe cabal is more important but that's just my 2 cents. |

I'd say it greatly depends on your character and your alignment and/or religion. For an easy example, let's take a paladin of XYZ good god. For this character, it's just a matter of order. If he swore vows to a cabal first and tribunal later, the cabal would come first, except for times where his god would force him to prioritize his tribunal for whatever reason. A hellion on the other hand would likely prioritize whatever is convenient to him at the time and make up a logically stated reasoning about it. For unprincipled/scrupulous characters it really is up to whatever they feel like at the time, so long as their factions tolerate them. That help any? |

This is totally up to your character's role-play. There may be different repercussions if you are ever forced to make those choices in-character, but you get to make that value judgement that best suits your character's role-play. Within the "hierarchy" of factions, though.... - the deity character basically "owns" the worshipper's soul, so religious faction usually is top priority... - cabals are more "elite" factions overall, so they usually tend to trump tribunals... - tribunals represent a homeland... home is where the heart is.... |
