I would like to request the addition of 'GO BACK' options in the alignment/race/class sections of the Halls of Creation.

That's actually a good idea. I'm not sure how easy it would be to have step-by-step backing up, but it should be possible to go back to starting point without much fuss. Like a reset button.

Viltrax made a nice chart of the valid race-alignment-class combinations that got put in the /gfx/ directory somewhere. It could probably stand a quick reverification, including loyalty token updates, and would help people if available more conveniently.

From what i have observed in character creation is that it waits until you get to the question to give you your actually class/race destination.

I don't think you're going to get anywhere with that. Dulrik changed things to how they are so they the "RP-first" style of character creation could be emphasized, and the only reason you'd need to go back is if the class you want to go is in his mind clearly against the alignment options you've already chosen.

I like this idea. I don't know how many times I've created a character and immediately had to delete and re-create because I hadn't realized I was not done conceptualizing and found another race or class more suitable. I don't see why the option to go back couldn't be coated with roleplay as well. Having a change of heart could be part of the scripting.

This stance and 'style' holds little weight with the addition of LT combos. It is obviously NOT rp-first or I could make an elf barbarian who serves in Fort Tethos.

Finally found it. Viltrax made this at my request years ago to help people know what choices can be made in character creation.

An update to indicate LT options would be great. It could use some love in general.

For that matter, a quick conversion to ANSI and uploading to a help file would be awesome. I don't like the feeling that people are suffering for want of a resource like this that's already been made.

If we consider other resources available, it's the same with a char as it with a grocer: the customer sees what he gets in advance.

These files need a bit of brushing up here and there to be 100% accurate again.
