A sticky thread in announcements that is updated with help file changes. This I feel is specially important given now that some help files include rules in them now. It also creates a shortcut for players coming back to go learn about changes to skills/spells and rules when they come back rather than reading every single code update thread. At first it seems like extra work that Imms dont need but the more I think about it the better it seems. It helps keep players up to date on changes. It helps players see any new thing added to the game. It also seems to go well with the rules management being introduced if these rules make it into helpfiles which I believe is the intent. |

A changelog would be easy, healthy, and appropriate. Top TMS mud sites have changes listed for areas and rules right on their front pages. I sometimes worry that transparency gets limited by cases of "Not Invented Here." |
