Since deep-elves start out with deep mastered (right?), I think it would be awesome for elves to start out with sylvan.

I asked about this when the Ayamao academy was removed, and hope that it will come to be.

I recently had to teach sylvan to an elf (possibly OP?) who created in Taslamar, but whose RP was being from Ayamao. I then had to walk her through the deportation / immigration process.

It was not a gratifying player interaction. It was oocish, and awkward. I would have almost asked,

'If you're from Ayamao, why don't you even speak sylvan?'
'How did you get to Taslamar? Why did you come here?'
'How did you come to be a citizen here?'

Somehow, I didn't want to ask, and she didn't volunteer any information. I gave her the five platinum to get deported out of pity.

So... people can still migrate to these kingdoms, they still have tribunals, so I guess it's a valid RP choice to 'be from' those kingdoms,

but, people who do want to RP that, have to go through an OOC process to get to that point.

I just.. I'm sorry. I can't do this anymore.

I felt an urge to make a Northerner, earlier. I rolled out of the halls of creation, and then.. I picked Empire, thought about having to do everything that that elf did, earlier, plus probably having to pray to get into the North because the Hand appears to have died. Then, I looked at the golems, in the similarly OOC newbie school area, and I asked myself how my North character wound up as a citizen of the Empire, in Uxmal.

Where am I?

I just.. I wasn't inspired. I've tried to make three new characters or so in the last month, and every time, I get out of the halls of creation, I look at the new newbie school, and I give up.

I know we had a long conversation about that, and there was lots of fighting, and nothing was settled. I'm trying not to be overly negative, but it's still here, and it still just makes me sad.

You could just out level the academy, and pretend you never went there.

Not sure why you would look at the new newbie school and give up. Its better than anything that used to be there.

This suggestion is reasonable with a high likelihood of implementation.

Should probably disable immigration to the Wastes/Ayamao, too - leaving open the "from Ayamao but migrated to Taslamar and that's why it's my homeland" RP but staying consistent with the "consolidation" plan.

I think there's no leaders remaining who can immigrate to the Wastes.
One leader remaining who can immigrate to Ayamao, where the situation is still developing.
