Akin to songs of dancing, songs of singing would prevent someone from quaffing/eating/drinking as they are compelled to sing-a-long.

Sort of like when piano man comes on in any bar in America.

Sweet Caroline/Take Me Out to the Ball Game at a Red Sox/Cubs game?

Makes sense as an ability. I'm not a huge fan of spam quaff in general and I don't know that this would feel great in an environment where spam quaff isn't as powerful as it is now.

But in theory you could shift some of the upper songs down a level, throw this in at Master, and give the dancing mode a version of the spell failure chance from deafness as the forced sing along becomes more powerful, and could ruin the verbal spell components. Anti-magic abilities are already part of the bard toolbox.

I like this idea. It should interfere with recite, too.
