(DISCLAIMER: I don't know if this can be posted here, so sorry in advance if I messed up)
Hello,
I don't know exactly what the Northern Wastes are going through, but surely Krychire sure could use some renovation work. The grind is almost unbearable right now, it used to be A.O.K before when you could do the 4x100 sacrificial heart quest, and the exp was decent, for some reason it doesn't feel the same now.
some ideas to revitalize this area: 1) Return possibility to do the 4 homage quests of the four temples. 2) If 1) is not viable, boost a little the exp given by the sacrificial npcs there. 3) If 2) is not viable, boost the quantity of re-spawn npcs per tick, two of each per tick is too lacking, since a single player can mow down the area in less than 5 minutes.
I think what this area is lacking is dynamism, I have a giant merc right now mowing down this area almost to the point of not getting hit. killing a bunch of npcs the first round is OK, since there are 8 npcs per room, but two per room once every tick is hindering the progress. turning the leveling into a mindless grind and I wouldn't mind giving the npcs ball and chain weapons or shivs (since they are prisoners) if that would allow me to gain more exp or at least give me a challenge. I avoid the griffon or the deep-elves npcs, since they do not make a difference.
For example the previous area (for me) was Valley of Ashes, there are rooms upon rooms of npcs you can grind on, which is OK, they re-spawn in couple every tick, but there are plenty of rooms of which you can clear off, and if that's not enough there are the middle rooms filled with npcs also. Another example, Iane'elanka Lake is next after Krychire (for me), this place is great, since there is a variety of npcs, multiple rooms, and filled rooms every tick. not only that, the npcs are tough with claw attacks, barbarians with headbutt and wild fighting, tail attack, and sorcerers with sanctuary.
I'm open for discussion
Cheers
