So hopefully this isn't revealing too much IC information. If it is, I assume staff won't let it through moderation.

Currently, in the Dreamscape, you can not 'sleep' due to it being a dream. This is an interesting concept, and sort of fits the area. The problem is, this is crippling for trips out there, and just artificially extends how long it takes to traverse the area, as a priest with mastered meditation/trance and max mana trains, regens something like 7-15% of their mana per tick, while only being able to rest. It's much worse for any other class that depends on mana.

I like the concept of not being able to sleep, but currently it doesn't seem to 'add' anything to the area besides making it more of a chore. I would like to propose that on every tick in the Dreamscape, you regain hp/mana/PE as if you were sleeping (even while standing/etc). This would be both interesting, and IMO, make the area feel less like a chore, and might even be considered a "fun" difference from normal, rather than the current arrangement that is basically anti-fun and time-consuming just to be time-consuming.

While I don't necessarily agree with upping the regen for everyone to be as if sleeping all the time, I 100% agree that something needs to be done to decrease the oppressiveness that is the Dreamscape that isn't limited to a single-instance special item. The battles and risk involved are hard enough without imposing the artificial time-adding limit which is the non-sleep feature.

The Dreamscape is chock full of examples of gameplay elements that feel thematic but that are practically frustrating. This is one of them.

There is one way I know of to cheat the system as well letting you sleep for a bit. Most of the time I cant go on dreamscape adventures due to time myself. The large amount of time needed for most late game PvE is huge making the majority of the challenge finding a time when you can form a group that all members have the time to do something. Much like a wow guild the true challenge to raiding is the herding cats before hand to get the players to show up when you want ready to go.

Also with the dreamscape not only do you need time to get in but you need time to get out as often as not.
