| Post subject: | Grey Aura NPCs grouped with Light Aura NPCs? |
So, I figured this warranted a discussion, and I wanted to hear from staff. It's rather well documented that lighties can get in trouble for fighting other lighties, including light aura NPCs. If a grey aura NPC is in a group with light aura NPCs (and in a lawful, light aura area, to boot, but not a guard NPC), is the grey aura NPC's equipment just completely off limits to light aura characters (as they'd have to fight the light aura NPCs in the group) until some other, not-lightie PC kills the grey aura NPC and its group? Not really complaining, but I don't think I've ever encountered this situation before and it seems....strange, so I wanted to get some other thoughts on it. |

I would recommend against fighting said grey aura NPCs. That being said, I don't think you'd be cheating as a scrupulous character to stun the greybie and take his gear. It's hard to justify a light aura character straight up killing in that situation, though. |
