Aelius was alright, from the bit I saw(I didn't spend too much time around him), he usually seemed pretty upbeat, sad to see one of the few members in my Trib go bye-bye.
My one piece of advice(I don't even follow this myself sometimes, and said character usually doesn't last, but it really helps) try not to get involved in too much PK till you're like almost Champ-ish(being mentor/master and being busy worried about people coming after you, or dying and getting looted makes it really hard to level, I know this from experience) it might not sound like it'd make much of a difference, but it does IMHO.
