I went toe to toe against Cazaril and a fully prepped hammer group with nothing but a naked deamuce with a pike to protect me, when Cazaril had the ether wire.

Voodoo is just a different animal because there isn't even interaction or something you can do. You just get hit with the slay command. No thanks. At least against taunt+ether wire, there's a chance the taunt will break and you'll get away. It involves luck but at least you stand a chance of survival. I don't see why I would stick around when I have zero chance of survival, and it has nothing to do with my enemies being superior and everything to do with them being lame [REDACTED] using a cheap tactic. I'm not going to reward that BS by eating a voodoo and dying.

The problem with voodoo is that you have to think -ahead-, on both sides. The fact that you failed to do so, yet got involved in PvP anyway and then logged out to avoid the inevitable gank just makes you look like a girly man who had to change his pants immediately afterwards. That image is made even worse by you making up your own rules and then demanding that others play by them or else you're just going to quit like a girl.

If, at any point, you came on the forums whining about how you weren't going to play unless a voodoo doll of yours was junked, then you have officially lost your ability to talk about toughness.

I always enjoyed seeing Rhea on the who list. I also particularily enjoyed our last interraction with Esme, who I did not know was one of yours. Seeing the capability and the willingness to contribute by a player such as yourself is heartwarming so you can imagine my grief over your leave.
I did not bother reading -all- of the commends, typical (our side VS your side) debate, but I do sense that if being diabolical sets grounds for such behaviours then I propose that the allingment helpfile gets changed. You can always be diabolical without causing ooc grief to everyone in your path for OOC or no reason at all.
Regardles, I will not derail this thread any longer nor participate in this debate (there was RP vs there wasn't), clearly the parties involved in this player killing know if there was.
I hope that you will cool off at some point and return to the game. Thinking of the players that make you want to come back rather than the ones that want you to poke your own eyes out usually helps.

I liked this character a lot! Too bad to see her go. Hopefully after some time you come back and play, this game needs straight up RPer's just as much as it needs PKer's. Without RP this game would be as boring as staring at dead grass.

to mundy, you have QQ'd and complained as much as anyone, cry moar nubcake.

Enjoyed interacting with this char on several RP occasions across multiple characters, including some fun about pants and hoarding 100+ bags of beans.

Sorry to see her go, best of luck with your next. They always come back.

I liked Rhea but she definitely did the spaz-freak-out-quiet-mode thing to Menkh, so I can only assume something similar happened with Syn.

Of course, Syn is virtually insane when she's in her SK "moods" and I can't imagine being at the receiving end of that. Sorry to see you go, Rhea. I also liked Esme, maybe you can play her more.

I think this player just has a list of players that she refuses to interact with in game. She lets her OOC hatred completely determine her IC actions, which is poor form. That would explain why so many people have high opinions of Rhea, while other people just report that she spazzed out at them and went into quiet mode for no IC reason.

What I'm trying to say, Jennbo, is that Esme does not like you.
