Shattered Kingdoms

Veloras was an excellent "dark" Knight. He held himself with the grace his status and position dictated for the entirety of his tenure. Trag you are a player I deeply respect and always like to interact with. You really set up a few very high standards for all Hellions to follow and brought back the kind of attitude expected from a Knight that was last seen about a decade ago.

Tragonis has always been a pretty badass dude.

I think Lynard was probably more epic in the PK department, if only because (from what I saw) he had virtually no allies and would still get out there and fight.

Veloras to me however seemed to have a lot more depth to his character in the few interactions I had with him. My first interaction was resurrecting him at 4 AM EST when he was still a wee squire! (I think)

Anyway, this was a good character. I look forward to seeing what else, if anything, you do in the future. I got many Turon vibes from Veloras, which is a good thing in my opinion. Not to compare you both, of course.

I enjoyed what I saw of this char, and Eetso always considered Veloras to be something of an "honorary knight" of Algorab. I even enjoyed the little bit I got as an enemy of his.

I wouldn't ordinarily put my two cents in as I don't play any more myself (and haven't for some time) but I still have fond memories of playing the game well supported by Heldorian and also that centaur scout in the Hammer that I can't remember the name of (but I think it started with a Y, Yergon perhaps?).

I think SKs will struggle to find players that will make as much of a contribution as you have.

Sidenote, it is weird how many SKers and former SKers are military.

As for why we have so many military players? Back in 1999 somehow a lot of us got into playing the game in Germany on a US military base during school. Likely because telnet could get passed the weak firewalls and filters back then and computer class was uber boring. A lot of military brats end up in the military themselves. We are engulfed in it for so long, might as well stick with it. And since I never really experienced civilian life, I don't miss any of those liberties I might have given up by serving.
