I doubt I will be able to find what I am looking for but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I am trying to find OLD SCHOOL logs, maybe around 2000-2001. I know back in the day someone ran a page that had contained a bunch of logs but I can't for the life of me remember who ran the page.

First does anyone remember a webpage dedicated to sk logs that was up around 2001? If my year is wrong I'm looking for around the time when SK was still supporting heroes, events shortly before, during, and a decent amount of time after the blood wars. If so does it still happen to be up, and do you have the link?

If that website no longer exists, or no one has any clue what I am talking about, is there any new websites that have been made that contain logs going back that far?

Appreciate any info you all might be able to give.

****edit**** If I posted this in the wrong area I apologize, it seems it might be better suited for general since I'm asking about logs and not characters. The logs do contain dead characters though ;-)

Indeed, I had some fun times.

It has been around six or seven years since I have visited SK. How is SK holding up? What does your player base look like? Average users online?

How many people from back then are still active players/imms?

I used to go by the handle EZE. I have seen our numbers rise and fall over the years, right now they've been steadily in the forties and fifties on the busy hours, with peaks of almost as many as seventy players on at a time. Of course I also see less than twenty in the wee morning hours. That is usually when I get my best work done. Some factions, especially tribunals are small in size. A few factions are quite strong, right now it feels like the darkies are swelling, but I believe there is a strong contingent of gray aura folks running around.

The IMM staff is comprised of some old faces, Werttrew (Zavijah at one time), Dulrik (the one and only), Alshain (Zynor?), Sadr (Yenko). I've been on staff three years this week. The staff is as large and as active as ever. We have SK Bonanza's intermittently which provide events and bonuses for leveling. They usually coincide with updates and surprises like new IMMs. Overall I'm happy with how SK looks right now, considering the challenges we've faced, the successes we've had, and the obstacles we've overcome. Its certainly not a perfect affair, but its definitely still a fun, living, changing game.

Recently there's actually been a fairly noticeable influx of very old players coming back to the MUD.

As for players still playing from the 2000-2001 era, off the top of my head, I can think of several:

Pudgy, Finney, Demon_SK, Kaitt, Cyra, Summ97, Lolth, Peso, myself, Girly, Ralance, Sklz711, Ilkaisha, Thran, Jadow, Dhanis, Viltrax(as an imm now)... I'm sure there's a few more I'm forgetting or didn't realize played then, but there's still a solid group of us around.

I just came back about a year ago now myself, when I first started playing again the average playerbase was pretty low, usually only about ~30-40 on at peak hours. But in the last several months it's really picked back up. We usually have around ~45-60 on during peak hours now, and still improving. So things are looking up.
