Its sad when you read this and you begin to realize how much time you been on this mud. Started in 97 and just screwed around til I found my holy roller Reilly, a Knight of Dulrik...about the time Fayne came about.
Shame was helpful in getting me here...he was a dreddy Mage I think. There was a Swashie ..The Crimson Templar atronous or something, anyone remember either Shame or that swashie?

No, you predate me by a considerable amount. I started in 2000 or 01. Around that time. I remember none of those characters. I've never even heard them mentioned before now.

No but I remember Reilly fondly. I think I played with him in the Hammer with Jucan/Quijui

If I recall correctly Shame was a Priest of Pergan.

Reading this thread, as off topic as it may get sometimes, really takes me back. I know I have been playing for quite some time now, but I am truly uncertain as to how long it really has been since I started my very first character. I may have taken a couple breaks from Shattered Kingdoms here and there. However, none of them ever really exceeded 6 months at any point. Something always kept me coming back for more. Granted there were times where I would rage delete (as I think a lot of us have done at one point or another) because my druid halfling scout was brutally PK'd and looted while sleeping in the CoH, lol. But then there were times like getting Pk'd as my half-elf scout fisty. I can't remember what the name of the character was but she was a adept deep-elf warlock with more than exceptional RP skills. Even though she managed to drain well over a level's worth of experience from me with her e-drain stave, I will never forget her leaving the lowest level fisty among us alive. It almost brings a tear to my eye, all the good times.

I will say I started back in the days before Sargas was even around. I don't think anyone has thrown out the name Ariakas on this thread yet. I have no idea who played Ariakas but I adored the RP I got out of him with my first main character Shishak. Human hellion, if I remember correctly. I, to this day, still wonder if the people who played Payne and Soren are still around. Soren was the first person to open my eyes to Shattered Kingdoms, allowing me to see how vast the game truly was. I deeply miss those times and wish I could go back, now and again.

I have no idea how long I have been playing, but I think the only person that might be able to give me some sort rough number would be Stryfore. He, the person in real life, was the one who actually introduced me to Shattered Kingdoms. Something I will never regret, no matter how many girlfriends I have that totally despise the fact that I play this game, lol.

I played Payne. I don't play SK anymore but I still cruise the forums.
