I think he said Soren, which is probably a different person from Sorel given the time frame he's referring to.

Oh, my bad, I missread that. Soren was played by Rennus-Dragonsbane, and he definitely doesn't play anymore. He quit several years ago.

Wow. I have to say, that is kind of depressing. Payne and Soren were the first two characters I really looked up to. I learned a great deal about the game from them. It is truly sad to hear they do not play anymore. I will admit that a great deal of the exceptional players do hit a point where they have given all they can to the game. Whether it be from themselves, or the game itself changing, the great ones do leave eventually. Sad, but true.

What happened to Eliro?

Whatever happened to the:

-parchment from Tlaxcala
-vials from Tlaxcala
-detect potions from Tlaxcala

They quit the game, citing bad RP and rampant PK.

You can still purchase the detect vials in the same area. The potions and scrolls were removed because they were too numerous.

That is a good question. I always liked logging on to Shattered Kingdoms, typing 'who' and seeing him on the list. I knew that at some point, sooner or later, I would run into him if he was on long enough. I will never forget the time I was playing as my sprite swashie and I acquiried a skin of him. I do not recall whether it was before or after he was made into a griffon or not, but I sure as hell made a pair of boots out of it. I relished the fact that I could walk all over Eliro, when ever I wanted, lol.

Is he still currently playing?

I used to talk to him on YIM back in the day. I remember when he deleted Eliro and he pasted the 'delete' message into YIM and sent it to me. Showing me that he deleted and then he logged off before I could say anything and I've never seen him log back on since. I heard he joined the millitary. It's too bad he hasn't dropped in to say Hi.
