Characters Over the Years

If you played Groof then it was you. Though it was right at the beginning of SK for me and some six odd years ago, it is a name I wont forget. Pretty much one of the first PCs I ran into outside the training grounds (the old ones).

Names like Sithara, Arsilan, Thayian, Valtari, Linarumien, Asen, Beriku & Federrik... these names will live long in the memory as they were so important to my early days of SK. Of course there are tonnes more that I recall and had huge influence, but these (and Groof among them) were what my SK beginnings were founded on.

But OT... my Characters

2000
Jurgen (Human Merc)
Corin (Deep Elf, cannot remember class)
Wortsenawl (Human, cannot remember class)

None of these survived past JM, mostly cause I screwed them up with re-incarnating over and over when I didn't know how to play the game. I left after a matter of a couple of weeks and then...

2006-2009
Wortsenawl (Human, Paladin)
Aquinas (Half-Elf, Shaman)
Camilla (Human, Priest)
Stranrear (Human, Hellion)

There were a couple of others, but they did not survive the training fields. I did have a Giant Warlock for a laugh, just to see what would happen, but it got old really quickly.

You might be thinking of Aquinas (the Truth NPC... that wasn't me).

There was a paladin played by Kijam a long time ago called aquianis also.

Now there's a list of names that bring back some memories!

And I do remember the 2006 Wortsenawl. I was playing from Tokyo that year, Groof and Igvot were my mains around that time, then Aria when I got back to Canada I do believe. Good times! :drunk:

Heh, damnit. You are right. My character was Aquinas (without the second 'i')... seems I got them mixed up.

Started last year, had 1 or 2, maybe 3, good characters, many that didn't make it to GM, a few I know I'm forgetting... Gonna be taking a break for a while... So I figured now would be a good time to update my list...many of these were short lived because I was trying to build characters around another player's string of characters...

Kethlaeron - elf scout - GM (horrible first build, but tried to make it work anyhow)
Pashevyk - centaur priest of Meissa
Kyrgann - (grey) human swashbuckler - GM
Vendrik - (dark) human mercenary
Jaervis - (light) human mercenary
Dannek - (grey) half-elf mercenary (okay, so I was on a merc kick for a while)
Kestryn - (light) human warlock
Kaylarr - deep-elf sorceror (loved the induction RP with Cendre)
Margatha - (dark) half-elf warlock of Yed - GM (sorry patrisauris, syn, native wolf - not really a newb, but was trying to distance myself from my string of crappy chars)

Also a couple of human rogues, a centaur barbarian, and a human shaman in there whose names elude me at the moment.

Margatha was an awesome character and the interactions with her were fun.
