Bored so I started looking at old posts and it reminded me of some older players that I met when I first started playing.
Venril, this guy hooked me up so much on my first character just so I could go out and lose it immediately, but he would always take me back down to Fort Tethos and give me a new suit.
Balaquo, the first one of the many name variations. This one was diabolic, and he always sat at the fountain with his dagger of the dead from the old school caverns of the undead. He later made Balaquu(sp?) and got leadership of hammer and got caught doctoring his score and attribute to look a little better.
Riley/invalynsname, taught me a lot about this game, but mainly the way of role playing. I owe a lot to her for dealing with my while I created paladin after paladin and kept getting them back in Alshain just to delete once I hit mentor.
I think his name was Glen? He was the swashy that always ran around with a 2h sword and was griefed by everyone imaginable.
If I remember right, Ensley became an Imm, but he helped one of my experimental characters out a lot when I was very new to the game and RPd quite a bit with me. I remember a conversation we had about lighties and darkies once. At the time I was just quoting a section from Dragonlance, but later on I realized he was actually trying to see my stand point because he was in the Druids.
Most people didn't like this guy, but I thought Ashin was pretty cool. I interacted with him a lot on my first character and learned to like him.
But the best group of players I ever interacted with were the Druids. When I was inducted it was my first time in the Druids, and the first cabal I joined where the induction ceremony was very rp heavy. Thanks go out Ibudon, Cilek, Ingia, Anasa, Morovik, and Renyua. There were a few more members at the time but those were the ones I saw the most. You guys made being in the Druids my favorite times on SK.
