Oh god, not this "back in the day" crap again.
Hey, there are a lot of us still around that remember when RP was stronger than PK. That does not mean we do not know how or when to PK, it just means we remember a time when SK flourished and the player count was a considerable amount higher than it is now. I know a lot of people that left because they got sick of the people playing to win, the people who keep a character for a month on average, the OOC connections it takes usually, and the repeated daily PK of their characters. I mean, how much respect do people not have when their GM character is PKing a novice or initiate repeatedly with little more than a grunt for RP. Yes, there is enmity in some cases, that said, not even enmity needs to end up in PK.

Finger of death is a bit sketchy, sure, but not a direct violation of Meissan faith. It's certainly not the most benevolent spell...but it's basically just killing. It's not much different from acid blast or whatever. Plague, on the other hand, is the straight-up opposite of Meissa. That's like a Dulrik follower pretending to be a necro's best friend in order to kill him. It just doesn't fly.
Agreed. Now if I played a HF of Meissa and I heard of a priest using plague, it would be a blemish. Finger of death, I would have to hear the reason on, as in did they try everything and this was a last resort for them.
