I've actually only recently been able to play WoW again with any regularity and yes, I'm loving it. I can grind levels or work on skills one-handed on WoW but trying to level, RP or anything else on SK is pretty pointless. The playstyles are completely different. There are one or two other factors but that's the main reason I'm not on SK right now. Maybe when Jon gets back from Korea and Sophia's walking freely on her own. So... perhaps in about 3 months.

What ever happened to Good old Garath? I still remember all the fun I had with my first ever GM char, Drebbin. Most of it was because of him. We fell out of touch a long while ago but I wonder now if he even plays.

I also want to know when he started playing. 'Cause I know I've been playing about six years but I don't really know exactly how long. I know I started six months after him because we talked about it on MSN.

This Orac ID was made in 2003 and Orac came along maybe two years after I started playing, but I'm not sure. I donno. I guess it will always be a mystery. I'm tempted to say I've been playing for seven years but I donno if I've been playing since 2000, that seems a bit early.

Regardless Garath was always great fun. What ever happened to him?

Nope. NXS played Garren at the time, a mercenary in the Peacekeepers. I remember both Drebbin and Garath, but I do not recall if they were around when I had my paladin. I think I first really noticed them on Isolde and that was in 2000.

Given that the character had a considerable life span, it might have been 2001. Damn, that does sound quite a long while ago now that I think about it. Interesting how people have changed over the years (or not!)

It's because I was stalking Exeter. My character was madly in love with him. He was so.. barrel-chested! On a more serious note, I was 16. What do you expect? You pissed me off (because back then that was possible MUD-wise) on my paladin, and I took it to my sorceress.

Live and learn. I wasn't actually aware at the time that I was doing anything questionable.

In 2000 I played Iori, Thran played Dracmirth.

In ~2002 I was pretty much finishing up with Iori, later that year I started Garren. He was done during '03, I believe.

The name Garath sounds similar.

Also, wasn't Exeter that bastard that Garren pretty much told GET YOUR [REDACTED] HORSE OUT OF THE INN and Exeter was like NNNNNNNNO! and they'd yell at each other for pretty much a long time?
