Just no fun in it, the GM to explore thing gets old grinding levels wears on your nerves. NO rp made it really weak.

Again the grinding levels is just weak, absolutely no fun.




I'll ponder the last char I have for a while, see if anything pans out over the next couple days. If not, you may get your wish and I will be gone for a while.

Nobody asked you to leave SKs. What (at least) I propose, though, is stop QQing so much and want to turn SK to a whole different game than it is.

Uh, juggernaut did suggest Yana play a different game.

Personally, I find your "QQ's" refreshing. It is good to get people thinking about what is wrong with the game so they can think about ways to better it. That is never a bad thing. It would be a shame if everyone that had a problem left. All SK would be left with is complacent vets who already "won".

Now this was one I put some thought into, Mokuche is Navajo for Hopi, Koda is Friend Wahya is Freind, Then medicine man of Owl. It was meant to be built off a native american concept, which is why i wanted to ditch flailf and a couple others for spear, that way I had my tomahawks and spears for weapons, ha ha, the concept was pretty straight forward, a peacful people pushed to the brink and into the desertts of Zhenshi where they died out of hunger and disease, he was the last remaining one and he was attempting to bring some peace to the tribe before they passed on to the great beyond. Equa is greeting, Edoda was God, Aho means all is well, Wado is Thank you, just some of the words I tossed about. Either way the RP I used met with rolled eyes and other oddities.

You are right I am playing the wrong game, my concepts just don't fit in with SK so I need to find something more fitting. I beging to QQ too much when I see the same repedative BS, Peso is running around with his Red-headed Priestess and A red corrisar(sp) whatever the spelling on the horse is, the abuse is RIGHT there and the imms want logs, open your damn eyes to the game you are playing.

I wanted to approach the whole peacful native angle and join the fist and try to maintain some level of not killing people in battle to stick with the peacful nature of my tribe and several others of the northeastern United states, their greatest attack in battle was to sneak up on the enemy and tap them on the shoulder, you prove your surperiority in battle AND the other warrior is given the chance to improve and less likely to kill you when he attacked your viallge in a few months, maybe promote less killing in PK and return promoting some honor in battle.

Eh, just a pipe dream and I am realizing I do need to walk away from the game. You are DO right I am playing the wrong game and thanks for pointing that out, have fun, you can contact me if anything drastci changes that is worth looking at, otherwise it is just going to be the same grinding trap into the same dull concepts.

Guess what? When someone has 10,000 more responsibilities than you do as part of said game, and isn't omniscient, sometimes they're going to miss things that seem obvious from your individual perspective.

That aside, your concept seemed interesting, and I'm sorry you became so frustrated before you were done exploring it. Good luck wherever you end up.

I was mildly intrigued when I met you the other day. Pity you didn't stick to that concept. I am not sure what would have come out of it, but it seemed uh.. interesting.

I don't need patronized or anything sugar coated, it is not a standard concept in SK and since it didn't fit the mythology to a T, then nothing positive was going to come out of it. You paused for a moment to RP while giving me the basics, but were you going to step out of your way to follow up and find out any more about the RP?

Probably not.


It was an out of the way concept, so was Alakar, that is what made him so hard to play, and all it took was the right few words to get him to do what you wanted. I had ONE person sit down and talk to him long enough to find out his mohter was a [REDACTED] and he had a thing for drowning his pets then his younger siblings, he was insane and acted it. Beyond that everyone avoided me because it was not a rez plz thx deal, I think I rezzed two people.

Uhg I think Juggs is right though, I have been playing the wrong game for 6 years and that is why it has sucked so horribly.
