Code:
Sharp, dark-green eyes stand in stark contrast to this woman's pale skin,
which humbly hides behind the light-brown freckles that sporadically dot her
face.  Devoid of any blemish or wrinkle, her skin seems barely enough to
cover her tall frame, further highlighting her bony features.  A long,
pointed nose juts out from between her loudly pronounced cheekbones, which
are completed by a small chin tucked beneath her thin lips.  Silk, in the
form of long brown hair, frames her visage.  It continues on just past her
shoulders, creating a smooth progression to the rest of her lithe form.
Lacking impressive features, her body stands in humble mediocrity,
displaying fewer curves than most women might.

I doubt anyone but a handful ever interacted with her, but I thought I'd post it anyways. Those 168 hours were largely spent alone, because I couldn't really seem to find any purpose for the character. I loved, loved, loved the concept behind her, but the combination of playing a class so reliant on others, and the low player counts, left me with little to do and no desire to do anything, really.

Her title (if you didn't catch it) was a bit of a pun. I looked at her personality as a form of moonlighting due to her duality, but it also fit well, because of the whole...rogue...thing. Shut up, I liked it.

I'm done for the time being, I think. The drama of late hasn't helped my desire to play, but she was a dead effort anyways. I would more blame the design of the rogue class than anything else - a class should not rely on the presence of other skillsets (scrolls) to be powerful. They aren't completely gimped, but they're too reliant on other classes and don't have enough original, rogue-only talents. That, and leveling was pretty horrid, as a solo grey aura rogue.

I'll be back eventually, but the current state of the game isn't for me. When some changes happen to regeneration, and perhaps some more tweaks to the leveling system, I think I'll be up for another round.

Borne of an awkward marriage between a zealous Zhensh politican and an unscrupulous Uxmaln dancer, Niliasa's blood carried a message that she wholeheartedly attempted to live out. Half-human, quarter-elf, quarter-deep-elf, she found herself placed forcefully upon the line between what is most definitively evil and good. Torn between the studious nature instilled by her father, and the care-free, happy-go-lucky rhythm of her mother's life, she concluded that neither were the ultimate solution. She saw her father's pursuits as fruitless and exhausting, but also recognized her mother's actions as damning to others, as they were to herself (an attribute which she never understood how her father forgave, for forgiveness was not a concept she embraced).

Joining the Druids in the hopes of finding like-minded folk, she was disappointed to find that they were much more interested in the balance of dirt and trees, than the balance of personality and soul. Finding herself amidst a collective of fanatics and purists, she had no outlet for her mind, which overflowed with new ideas, experimental philosophies, and endless debates that she was forced to carry with herself, for lack of willing and competent opponents. She wandered the inns of the world, but in the end found no person that understood her in the way she wish to be understood.

Returning home, her father (now reaching towards the end of his years), was not surprised to see her return. She had no god to turn to, no country to protect, no family of her own to love. Such an existence, he deemed, was damned from the beginning. The night of her return, however, she silently tip-toed from her bed and into her father's chambers (a skill which she had, by now, wholly mastered). Digging deep into her father's old storage chest, she donned his old monk's robes, gave her mother and father each a delicate kiss on the cheek (a challenging feat even for a nimble woman as her self), and stole away into the night.

Waking up the next morning, her father did not bother to look for her, but only willed her on with a silent prayer towards the Restless, that she might find the enlightenment that she so desperately sought.

Sounds like a concept with a lot of potential. Sorry you lost interest, and look forward to seeing what you come up with if/when that's no longer the case.

I'm curious about the regeneration comment, but this isn't really the place I suppose. Enjoy your break!

She was certainly interesting, and the concept behind her was even better. I'm sorry to see you go, but a break may be what's needed.

Good luck with the break, and double when you come back and roll a darkie. :P

Mmmm, a character I am sorry to have completely missed out on. Judging by her story, she must've been interesting to interact with. A shame, I think we would've found plenty to chat about.
