When he died, I JUST HAPPENED to be listening to The Spirit Carries On by Dream Theater. oOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOo o [Attributes] Yaubl Sacabi, Elder Samurai o===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===o o Status: Grand Master(1) Race: Half-elf Class: Paladin o Age: 152 Sex: Male Size: Medium o Alignment: Principled Handiness: Right handed Religion: Dulrik o===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===o o STR: Powerful INT: Brilliant WIS: Wise o DEX: Nimble (acrobatic when younger) CON: Durable CHA: Sociable o===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===-===o o Carrying capacity: 20 items with a maximum weight of 265.0 pounds. oOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOoOOOo He had a few points in art, I can't remember how many. armor (very good) bless (very good) cure light (superb) refresh (mastered) call armor (average) create water (superb) cure blindness (very good) cure deafness (good) cure disease (very good) detect invis (superb) cure serious (superb) flamestrike (superb) frenzy (very good) identify (superb) create food (mastered) know alignment (good) protection (superb) remove curse (very good) cure critical (mastered) spear of faith (superb) locate object (superb) sanctuary (mastered) bolt of glory (mastered) detect aura (superb) holy word (superb) word of recall (superb) spear (superb) dagger (very good) flail (superb) mace (very good) polearm (superb) siegecraft (very good) sling (not learned) sword (mastered) rescue (superb) shield block (mastered) swim (superb) taslamaran tongue (mastered) uxmaln tongue (mastered) zhensh tongue (mastered) empire tongue (mastered) aghelian tongue (superb) sylvan tongue (mastered) firmyrn tongue (superb) deep tongue (mastered) taslamaran writing (superb) uxmaln writing (superb) zhensh writing (mastered) empire writing (mastered) aghelian writing (superb) sylvan writing (superb) firmyrn writing (superb) deep writing (mastered) ???????? (superb) ????????? (superb) Well boys and girls, his time finally came. He did not die riding out to meet his enemies with katana drawn, screaming one last defiant kiai in a kamikaze attack... No, he died sitting in the inner most sanctuary of the Monastery after giving advice about the dark times. A reverent and humble death. He said goodbye, said hello to Death, spoke with Dulrik, and now serves with his spirit embedded in the essence of a shrine of Truth. They sounded the big gong when he died. Awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this character, who I tried to role play as my own personal hero as I can imagine him. If there was any time at which I rubbed any of you the wrong way, I ask your forgiveness, and I hope that we can all continue to play this marvelous game in a good way, always leaving it better than we found it. |

Yaubl was a great character. I just started my character as he was finishing his 'prime time' so I only caught a glimpse of it, but it is one of those characters that left a big impact on SK's world. I may disagree with the way he played his character, and the way he acted towards other ppl as a paladin of truth and as a fist, but its not my place to judge how someone wants to play their character. Yaubl was a good teacher and master to my char, and I enjoyed most interactions I had with him. Thanks, man. Good luck with your next. |

Kudos on a well and long played character... I disliked Yaubl in his begining, I did not want him as a squire with Kalaron, but then again, Kalaron was harsh and hard in both IC concept and Roleplaying, and not at all flexible. I am glad I was there to help him with Elriorith, with whom I had a more flexible Roleplaying, and I enjoyed heavily all our interactions. I am glad we rode alongside, for quite some time. All in all, a well played char, even though I ICly dissagreed with several things about and with him at various times. I hope you like the ceremony we gave you when you died. Well done in overal, good luck with your next. |

I saw you last! You were cool, man. The one lengthy interaction we had was very enjoyable, and gratz on the age death. I can't think of much more to say. |

There were no ninjas involved in his death? I liked messing with Yaubl on many different characters. From Shiryu, Takeshi and Kegyce - the experiences were pretty memorable (especially Takeshi). Hope you stick around, poozer. |

I enjoyed the interactions I had with you as Elspeth. It was fun using a paladin of truth to get away with lies . Good job and good luck with the next. |

Ehn. I can respect a long-lived character, but I thought Yaubl was lacking in a lot of areas. Between egomaniacal control over monks during Rikka's prime ("They're free to do as they want as long as they want to do what I tell them" I think was one line I heard him say once), putting together a nine-man summon gank squad for a lone necro when he lost a duel of wits, and his actions during the Zhensh civil war, along with a number of other, less specifically memorable moments, I was left rather unimpressed with this character. |
