'Is this name correct?'
Uh-oh...

Albrecht Dearborn the chipper wizard and his flaky steed, Pierry the horse, formerly known as Uncle's Organic Burp. of the same surname. Q3'08-Q4'08. R.I.P.

Reason - Over a month and a half of spending too much time working and forgetting to fulfill each morning's promise of refreshing this character at the end of the day for use during this month have served to idle him out for good. The brief experience let me know that RP is still alive (or lurching, depending on the time of day) on this mud, and I hope to do it again sometime. Suggestions?

Description - Spent more time being a chatterbox than killing things, but I was going for more of a dandy Skeletor than a destroyer of all things. Only met a few people, and he was early enough into levels (thus easily forgotten) that I could probably get away with recreating, but I'm sure that would violate some rule or another. I had a sizable list of personality traits and hobbies that I won't get into here, since I haven't really displayed them all and might want to recycle them in the future.

One can assume that, bored, he gave up on repetitive killing in favor of raising sheep some kloms from Nerina, chasing off zakami with a pointy stick and performing magical experiments on every other odd ewe.

Code:
A tallish man possessed of manifestly boyish strength and unweathered skin is
present. His hands look to have seen some small amount of labor, but are not gnarled
and ghastly for it. Blue eyes are set roughly in the center of unassuming, round
features on a clean-shaven face. Enveloping this is a mane of golden hair cut
roughly at the shoulders, catching wind, static and tangling with apparent
angelic caprice.

Brief Acquaintances - Hanathena, Rhin, Brenur, et al.

Greatest Twink Loss - Experience from one or two enlightenments, a pending award for a high-level quest, and 'wands (perfect)'

Not sure exactly what suggestions you're looking for, but I'll throw a few out that I think are along the same vein.

The classes where RP is really easy to get into are support classes. Priests, sorcerors, shamans, bards, and a few others (to varying degrees). None of the four classes mentioned are that hard to level, and if you are lucky, you'll run into a character or two that's completely willing to deck you out and get you started. It'll make the grinding a lot simpler. When you don't want to grind, sit in an inn and relax. It's not usually too long before people come to rest or whatever. And after you level a bit, you can move around more easily, and try a few inns, one of which is almost always busy.

And once you've leveled and start meeting people, usually you'll group up for PvE adventures that help explore and learn the game. :)
