It's hard to enjoy this game if you can only play a few hours a week. There's too much time spent leveling or enchanting or gathering coins or preps or resting off fatigue or whatever else. Too much downtime. Too many things that feel like chores. Not to be all gloomy though! It was fun in between those parts, for sure. I'm just not paitent enough anymore, I guess, to deal with the grindy bits.

I have noticed the same...
You -really- have to invest a huge amount of armor if you want to be competetive in the game.
So you spend 5 hours a week playing for two months. You get a char with some items you like, they are enchanted and suddenly you get pk'd and everything you have to start over with a perspective of 2 months to achieve this... unless you have friends that play a lot and will get it all done for you while you're not online.

I think a whole lot of possible players get lost in this endless grind :/

I agree too. I'm trying to do something about it (Check the gameplay forums!)

You're a great girl, who plays great characters. Hope to see you around some more whenever you get the interest again.

I am sad that another person lost out to the grind-ness.

This is exactly the reason why I posted all my ideas in the gameplay thread: To avoid the loss of interest by people who can't/don't spend erroneous amounts of time playing. I've been tossing those ideas around in my head for a few days, makes me sad that Kima deleted the day I formulated them into writing.

I think that even five hours a week isn't near enough to be anything close to competitive. Believe me I could have put more then that in and I still was kind of forced to stop playing on a competitive level and eventually not at all.
