I deleted. This will probably be my last prolific character in this game. Too much time and effort goes into building a successful faction where everyone's enjoying membership, when it can all be ruined in two seconds by a child having a temper tantrum and that gets supported by the staff.

Those aren't naked stats. The stat build on this character was extremely difficult for me to plan, given the intent I had to have her be a beastly tank/maledictor. I'd maxed int and wis naturally, had nearly max art, and three or four mana trains that mostly came from mentor points. Str and Dex were 3-4 short of max each, Con was 1-2 short of max.
I started this character with very little backstory in mind, and had the intent to shape her personality based on a few early interactions with other characters. That worked out pretty well.
She was originally from a tribe of mixed blood sprites that were nomadic in that they made their homes in the valleys between sand dunes in the Zhang, and moved as the wind moved the dunes. She left her home village to explore the wider world, having a bit of wanderlust in her from an early age. She came to Nerina, and had just begun to really explore Pyrathia (jman level, as I recall), when she ended up in a verbal altercation with the then-leader of the Talons, and was deported for disagreeing with him.
Huneria had gotten some mentoring from Keleza, and turned to her for help after being deported. After a meeting with Iureana, where it was explained that if she was going to live in the North it would be a life devoted to strength, Huneria was imigrated to the Wastes. Huneria took Iureana and Keleza's advice to heart, and from that point forward her entire life was devoted to being the strongest in every possible way. The only part of Huneria's life where she failed at that was that she remained almost completely illiterate her entire life.
Huneria initially had been interested in joining up with the Black Hand, looking up to the example of strength that Iureana and Keleza presented, but eventually the dissent from within that organization turned her aside from it. She ended up falling in with the Harlequins as a means to an end, seeing Ranoan as a new example of strength. She helped him grow the strength of the Court, and when he died, worked to continue his efforts to strengthen the Court, and herself as a result.
Huneria's personality evolved a fair bit from beginning to end. Once she'd attained enough strength of her own that she felt like she'd surpassed the icons of hero worship she'd had as a youth, she started to stretch farther and farther, demanding more and more of herself and those around her. Anyone who tried to step up and take charge of anything in the Court, she was most demanding of, insisting that they prove their worth and strength before she would entrust them with the responsibility of even holding a group. For herself, she often would throw herself into the most difficult situations just to see if she could triumph (OOCly, I appologize to some of the faction leaders, as Huneria would often go solo their Guardians as a warm up and I know that the coin farming is a nuisance). By the time she was an established leader of the Harlequins, she respected one thing only, strength and the ambition to achieve it. Anyone she ever interacted with who was weak was oppressed, slaughtered, or used to further her own strength, unless they were demonstrative of a desire to be stronger themselves. Those, she helped as much as possible.
OOCly, I tried to lead the Harlequins as more of a mafia than a pack of drunken revelers. It worked well, too, in so far as it created additional levels of responsibility within the Court for numerous characters, and generated a good deal of conflict throughout the game and within the Court itself as different characters competed to be top producers. It was fun while it lasted.
