I rolled this character to help a friend of mine who wanted to try the game for a long time. I have the bad habit of never deleting a character so after he quit I kept on playing Nweltheron.

I always wanted to play an aludran because I really enjoy playing a good guy. During my previous characters I wanted to see an aludran who wouldn't take part in diplomatic games nor in the battlefield. One who would promote real unselfish love. And this was my guideline. There were times that I really struggled to keep myself and the character far from pking. I did it and it was fun. I enjoyed all the interactions both with the lighties and the darkies. His racial issues (with elves/delves) was his greatest weakness, so his happiest moment was when after about 50 years he overcame it by healing an elf during the burning of Nerina. The two were burning, the goddess was speaking into his mind so all happened so fast that both
Nweltheron and I realized what happened after a few minutes. :D Nweltheron has now retired to a humble home in the bamboo forest. He will never seek those in need again, but will never deny it either to the ones that will seek him and his help in the forest.

I had some plans for him but alas I move once again abroad and the time is less than limited. Sooner or later I will return for a more "normal" character. Till then.

Ohhh a special thanks to Tensarie, Noelyia and Tiske, and Aludra who was always hearing our prayers!!

I never saw this character. Noticed him on the who list but didn't see him in an inn or involved in pk at any point. Not sure if this was bad luck or what.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I located a few nice things on him. Nephrite etc. I assumed it was just some hoarder. Apologies if I'm wrong or thinking of someone else.

If you refused to get into PK and such, why do you need gear? Meh.

There are three types of characters not involved with PVP on which you can locate gear.

1. Hoarders.
2. People like Dayamin who accept loot as gifts and whine at the rest of the world if someone PK's them for the loot and takes it away.
3. People who accept loot as gifts, aren't stupid to say "No, I don't want that phat loot because I won't PVP anyway" and won't whine to the world if they get PK'd for it, realizing that's just the way it is.

I strongly believe Nweltheron was in the 3rd category. Kudos for a nice character. I liked his distance from politics, wars and pvp :)

No I never had a nephrite. The best items I had were a couple of detection staves (gift), 2 true seeing potions (mine and a gift from a recovery), a bought mod sanc staff and the casket. Oh I had for about a week the ring of miracles too which I promised to give it to the guardian leader back then if they got into any kind of war. It was the only item that I half denied to anyone. I wasn't even wearing the sacred armor. :P

Hoarders are people that have loot that I want.

I never thought I could run into trouble, accidently striking one of your group mates when your real target was to the northwest. I was proven wrong when Nweltheron helped Thamus train in Lower Morea. :P

Ah okay my bad. It was probably the true seeing potions that I located. Those are not unique or even limited items, though, so there's no reason to call you a hoarder. I just had a vague memory of you having something I wanted.
