Here before you is a very short long armed dwarf. He stands a mere two
feet five inches, he is stumpy in all forms of the word. Yet somehow his
arms nearly touch the ground! His nose pokes out above his partly
dreadlocked massively bushy orange-colored beard. The beard, in all of its
grandness is mostly well groomed, there are no food particles or anything
that is not supposed to be there in it. On many of the dreads he has
attached multicolored beads.
Overall, you are in excellent condition.

Not worth a backstory. I was semi-looking to get jacked (or lose my stuff to log out, or keep it all and play until i lose it) and delete. I play (insert awesome RPG that is not this one) now, it is far less stressful and time consuming, and between work and school I do not have the time to play a loot dependent class. I already have another, and they will not require EQ. My biggest peeve with this game is the loot wars, and to a merc weapons are 7/10ths of what you need, without good weapons generally even a buffed up merc is worthless. He was a test character anyway, that developed into something that I did enjoy, even to today. But I have had it in my mind that when his present set gets ganked, he is done. Having people put so much effort into something that can disappear so quickly is a determent, and it always has been. I am not saying anything needs changed, I just wish as a whole, when the side that is suffering the most with under-equipped, low level, fairly new players died, that the mijalaterkies on the other side would just leave their %^@% alone. No matter though, I view this as many vets loss at a chance to actually have a good fight, because as it stands, with the numbers/players you guys roll with, you will not get many. I wish I could say this was rager, but I pretty much know I am passed all of that (considering Ivstnesr got ganked umpteenmillion times and I kept her till age death, hell I still have her). If all of you whom enjoy a good fight in PK, leave your opponents gear, let them actually get prepped properly, or you will just continue steamrolling everyone. Look at that, you had one well prepared and equipped opponent, and it took you that long to kill them. What if you let a few get that prepared? Perhaps things would be less 1 sided. Sure things tend to balance themselves out, but with so many vets on one side it will be a while.

I would go ahead and flag Larsk, Mira. He's up to it.

Well I hate to see Drakey go. Nakoro just met him and liked having him around.

Drakey seemed cool, but I don't think I'll ever understand people who won't stop other people from looting the people they kill, yet at the same time are okay with insulting other people for taking what they can use from PvPs. Had I died that fight, I wouldn't have QQed over losing my loot.

I would offer you some advice in the future: If you don't like spending so much time prepping EQ, then just don't. Settle with a +6 weapon instead of a +10, and don't bother enchanting more than 2 more enchantments on each piece of EQ more than what it starts with. As it stands you were a dwarf merc wearing +HP gear, that probably had enchants on it. The reason that he was EQ reliant was because you made him that way, not because you had to.

Also, it was a 5v5.

I liked Drakey a lot. He always seemed to be willing to go anywhere and help almost anyone. He will be missed.

Have you ever went into PK with a merc that was in crappy gear, with only 2 enchants on each piece, had characters casting many spells on you, and came out ahead? Honestly man, you complained a lot when I took one ring off of your merc. Settling is not something I do, I am a quasi-perfectionist when it comes to these things, and I have had much experience in the realm of going into PK with no vials, horribly enchanted weapons that break instantly, and under enchanted gear, it has never went well!!!!! Enjoy steamrolling the permanoob and noobtastic lighties of today!!!! I will slowly level another, I should roll a sorc and spam final strike reincarnate! LOL

Half my pieces as Pilnor didn't have more than 2 added from their starting enchantments and I never had a weapon that was above +7 enchants to both. The vast majority of the time I ran around with a weapon that had zero enchants to damage and only four to hit, and it did decent damage even against non-darkies.

He was also a gnome.

You also can't cast final strike again if you reincarnate.

+7/+7 is plenty on a weapon. Should take somewhere between twenty minutes and a couple of hours to obtain, depending on repops and luck enchanting. +6/+6 is passable and shouldn't take more than a half hour. If only your weapons were taken, you weren't looted in a meaningful way.

The only other player I know of who insists on more than +8/+8 is Algon, but that is a long-term goal on his characters, not something he needs before he will pk. No merc ever asked my sorcs or my priest to stick around and try to get something past 8/8, but if they had, I'd have told them to shove it because that's absurd.

I agree you should not be playing a merc if you are going to get frustrated by having two weapons taken when you die. If you had actually been looted, it would have actually taken time to recover from.

Anyways, you're a good player with courtesy and good RP. Drakey was no exception. See you around.
