That feeling when you really want to boot up your client to see if this is real or not, but don't want to get banned 5ever. |

As I said in the other thread: This wasn't a flame. This was intended purely as comic relief. Please take it as that and only that. I had the random passing tune of "These Boots were made for walking" going through my head, and it made me smile. So I simply thought to share a friendly smile. I truly believed that was self-evident in the post, but perhaps in an atmosphere of heightened tension and inflamed passions, and on text-based message boards where tone of voice and expression cannot be readily perceived, such moments of good-natured merriment can be easily misunderstood. I honestly have no irons in this fire at all, and I honestly have absolutely no ill will toward B00ts. Sometimes we just need to take a breather, and not take ourselves so seriously. *shrug* |

He probably is a little bit worn out oocly. I think the forum topic in GD was just really untimely. Nothing is ever accomplished in that setting. |

We all have our rage moments, myself included. As Dabi noted, sometimes it's good to be able to not take one's self too seriously. |

Damn, hope you reconsider. If it helps I'll craft the unretire email for you to send. I truly do not believe there is enough submitted on both sides to justify that it's over. Hope you to see you back! |

I intend this to be read as a supporting, well-intended statement. Morton flew under the radar of many characters and appeared to be a character on a mission, crafted for a purpose. Even if the windows of opportunity were re-opened and that purpose realized, the stigma and haunting quality of community memory is no less in SK than it is in any other small town. If there are IRL complications requiring a break from the game, then I have no reason to selfishly bemoan the loss of this character and ask for more: that would in fact not be helping the player at all. If and when you return, Boots, it may be very useful to implement a practice I have been able to use very well as recommended to me by Patrisaurus, of all people: reroll and regain some anonymity, if only for a time, to give the character a chance to develop its own personality and reception distinct from whatever unintended legacy was earned as a player during previous characters and posts. |

I respectfully disagree. I think there can be redemption in this game and his pk ability will help restore any discredit to him. 9 actually think aside from not being more prominent earlier he really didn't do much wrong. |
