Staff has been gracious enough to consider lifting my ban from the game and forums, and because of this, I would like to apologize to anyone who felt wronged by some of my prior behaviors. I have, in the past, let my desire to 'win' take over and lead to me deliberately doing things I knew would make the game unfun for my opponents. Notably, one of these actions was abusing mimic and the adjective system, which is one of the actions I was previously banned for.

I'm looking forward to taking this opportunity to work to make the game more fun for everyone around me, and not just my "side" of the game. I'm hoping to get the chance to help newer (and even older) players learn the game, as well as possibly find ways for conflict to be dealt with in a way that is fun for everyone, and not miserable for one side of the game.

I petitioned pretty hard for your previous ban to be lifted. In your time playing Dakken, I learned quite a bit from you and felt you were a positive influence to the game. Even when you, along with the Splitbane Clan, got into the PK game, I respected the level at which you played. As an ally and an enemy, I think you're a great addition to our playerbase. Looking forward to your return.

On a side note, your character named Talys was the first character in SK to PK me. I have a little bit of redemption to get back. I'll see ya in Pyrathia.

My understanding is that syn mimicked a NPC that they were also charming. This was never against the rules and was common practice for many years prior to syn being punished for it.

Has an IMM ever clarified the rules and/or why this instance was considered against the rules? Am I simply misinformed? If not, a notable segment of the player base will continue to believe that syn was banned for other reasons, with the mimic issue being a cover.

The case cited in the original ban was actually charming a NPC with identical adjective/race/gender combo and using this to PK with and did not involve mimic.

Can we please have a list of adjectives that aren't allowed? Between tribunal NPCs and charmable NPCs it seems likely that other players could run afoul of this. Also, to prevent similar issues, is it illegal to have the same adjective as other player characters?
