Note: this is my opinion. I know I can’t possibly see all sides or know everything . I don’t know what I don’t know but I have to say this. I miss playing SK. I really want to play sk again but every time I login, I can’t bear to see the numbers. Can we just remove all bans and see what happens? I mean, it couldn’t hurt...? Many of the banned players are people who actually enjoy playing a mud and let’s face it, the mud community is not very big these days. Hey, maybe some of them even have kids they can introduce to sk. I understand bans are there for a reason but seriously, just this once let us all put pride aside and all past grievances and let them all back in. And relax some rules. I actually miss PK. Hey! It can be my Yiggmas present!! |

I think that anyone that is banned can appeal. Just some are too proud. |

I am sure even that can be appealed. |

I’m not saying the pride is only on one side. I’m just saying someone has to make the first move. Or not. I guess it just depends how invested people are. |

I agree that almost all rules and punishments need to be laxed until there's recovery in the pbase (unlikely to ever happen). I'm cool with all but 1 of those players being unbanned, should be obvious who. I also don't believe you should permanently ban someone from a game - enforce smaller but severe punishments that make getting caught for that behavior undesirable. If your kid throws their coloring book at another kid, you don't ban your kid from coloring books AND hanging out with other kids forever. Examples of small but severe punishments: - Removing levels - Disabling skills - 72 hour (or time in hell) - equipment penalty - Deletion I also think the imms need to explore restorative punishments. Ways to improve the game, rather than take away from it. Such as writing character/item descriptions to make up for certain behaviors. |

All the banned people I've played with are fine to actually pretty fun, honestly. Even if they lose their [REDACTED] eventually for whatever reason, it seems short term punishment are generally moreover reasonable than permabans. I'd also be glad to see SK make the first step here. |
