Lost flight over Teron and lost all my things. I went insane irl and retired the character. Might make a swash or something in a week when I calm down. Thank you peacekeepers for a good time. Expecially kilni, asither and Ihidi. Thanks Fist for giving me some kind of story arc and apree to make this elf and elf and not a rogue with a high dex and good cha for streetwise etc. Thanks to the villians who tormented me and fought with me. It was all fun. I know retiring over gear is stupid but Ihidi kitted me out to perfection and I spent so much time begging kilni to enchant and brew and this and that. I can't live it down right now. I didn't even get to fight for it. I wasn't even pked and robbed. Just oops everything gone. I'm not complaining. It wouldn't make ic sense that I could keep that stuff after a death like that but I retired. Bleh. Short and sweet. I hope you liked him. |

I feel your pain. The auto junk for dieing in the sky is [REDACTED] [REDACTED]. If we can have one code change, please just leave corpses. No one ever said glad I just died in the sky. Unless you are Jennbo and it's how you get your kicks. Also, I already miss you Dilfi. The d0rf and your elf. Come make a darky or greybie next! Hit me up if you wanna talk shop on swashies. |

Very sad to see you go down like this, but I totally understand the frustration. I think most of us that have been playing long enough have had to learn the hard way, sometimes twice. I idled out in West Winds like a doofus and contemplated the same thing after eating the full junk. Just took a break for a bit and came back. If EQ related stuff gets to you you can always try a sorc or a griffon. Plenty of sacred kits up for grabs, too. Come back, either way. |

Or build a custom suit so you don't have to worry about it as much. A few months ago I was toying with an alt and fell out of the sky in the dreamscape after I got him kitted. I was pretty sad too. |

Lol I remember the days of supernatural hide armor. I had one of the last few suits when I fell to my death above Exile. Was a sad day. |

I'd rather flight have a warning timer like drowning. It makes very little sense that your stuff wouldn't get scattered to the metaphorical wind if you fall in the sky, but you should be given a fighting chance to avoid it. Also, I liked Mearandryl. He was good stuff. |

I agree, maybe something like your body is feeling heavier in the air. You feel yourself begin to sink while you fly You are Falling! You have fallen to your death! Also remove any chance that a griffon or sprite can fall and die. It's just not 'realistic' in this fantasy setting. |
