. . . keeping more hours on a different character . . .

When this is the case (I'm not going to say "if" because it's definitely happening on more than one account), it's time to step down. No one cares who is leading a cabal, as long as someone is, except for the player of the character who just won't step down.

It's all a big e-penis issue. I lead so-and-such.

Well if you're not logging in, that's not really very impressive.

What they are getting at is that some leaders, will get on but only appear to be 'on'. When in actuality they are doing something else and just racking up their hrs so they don't stop being leader.

I'm aware of the monthly check, Muktar is correct as to what I was referring to.

That, and you get to hours-keep the fat loots on your character if you just log on in the keep and never leave.

I am not currently playing a group leader, but I am playing a religion leader at the moment. As I plan on keep that char (a deep-elf) for a really long time (life-time), I just GMed an alt. My hypothesis is that I won't burn out on my main like I usually do if I have some stress relief on another char.

Very different than declaring wars then never logging on and letting your active members deal with those wars.

I'm not complaining about religion leaders at all.
