Well just reading an article I was reminded of name that can be found in a lot of recent news, Sadr is a name of a shiite Cleric that has called for attacks on American troops. Though the name Sadr for our immortal may have come before the war, I was just putting a heads up, because I know I am not the only soldier here. Just a heads up, if the name of the immortal wasn't changed I wouldn't find it offensive, but it may be for those new players that join and see the name of a person asking for "American Troops" to be attacked.

Thanks,
Osterich

That's "al-Sadr", not "Sadr". But we can always rename Sadr "Cygnus". I'm sure NXS would agree with me on that.

All of the Immortals are named after star constellations if I remember correctly, save possibly Dulrik.

Americans don't make those distinctions. You are giving them far too much credit.

I really don't care to have that particular breed of person playing the game anyway.

*shrug*

They're named after individual stars.

Mira is sending off it's rays of awesomeness these days too.

On topic to Osterich: Don't be so ignorant as to let one person change your opinion about part of a NAME. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for serving this country, but please save your flag waving for things that matter and not over censoring someones name.

Off topic (Mira):
Incredible stuff, that, a tail that's 13 freaking light years long.

No, you're an AmeriCAN'T.

On topic, I never much liked the name Sadr to be honest. All other gods have a name that makes an impact but "sadr" just reminds me of the sound one makes when falling from his bed while sleeping

Best imm name ever: Yopparai.
Drunk in Japanese.
