Being killed wouldn't be so different from being summoned anywhere else. The risk as I understood the prior post is more about someone having their own private 'hell room' to lock people in (until a rescuer can find a symbol), which would be much worse.

There are not only areas that can only be reached with religious symbols, but there are non-sacred, unique, extremely powerful items that can only be retrieved with religious symbols. I agree that there should be fewer of these places or at perhaps ways of getting these symbols for non-faith members.
