As I understand it, we should typo log things like... well typos and other such that is mostly builder fixable.

How often are these logs handed out to the appropriate IMM and how often should we typo something that doesn't get fixed that should be (like something obvious, like a misspelling)?

Immediately.

There was a time when it was once a week, but as of quite a while ago they are recorded and allocated straight away. Only reminders are sent once a week, now.

Typo log any and everything that should be fixed. It may not get solved right away, but it'll be allocated to the right persons.

And how long should you leave it before logging again, or should you just leave it at once?

Just once should be okay. They are not closed out until they are solved or deemed somehow not worth the bother (for example: someone typo logs the spelling of "colour" in a room desc as a mistake, but it is the correct spelling in British English, so the imm closes the typo entry and leaves it alone).

In the old system, where they would just be registered once-a-week, it was better to re-log typos that hadn't been caught. The new system keeps entries indefinitely.

[Edit] That said, if it has been weeks and weeks and something obvious has not been fixed, I don't think anyone would frown upon having it relogged. Go ahead and mention in the entry that this has been logged before, and that way an imm may get in touch with you and let you know why there's been a delay or why the imm decided it wasn't worth the bother.
