Basically I need information on whatever spheres she had (if she had any), what her purpose in the game was and lastly how she gave way to Yenko.

Lorani was the original patroness of the deep-elves, and the Goddess of Night. Her symbol was an obsidian moon, if I can recall correctly. At the time, She was one of two gods that sponsored hellions, the other being Xareth. She was also loosely associated with the emergence of the Midnight Council, perhaps due to hellion sponsorship.

Her decline was subsequently marked by the rise of myself and Nightfall. This happened probably IC ~550 years ago, towards the middle/end of the Second Age.

Possible indirect sources of information on Lorani might be in Avan (both the keep and the caverns beneath), and the town that once was Seaside. Lorani might also be mentioned in any lore that describes Nightfall's emergence in the pantheon.

It sounds really interesting. Sadr, since there is no help-file available, nor any in-game resource that I know at least, can you please write a short "help file" about Lorani in this thread? Or tell us if there IS indeed any in-game resource about her? That would be very nice.

Check out Avan keep for some indirect info on Lorani.

I'm pretty sure I turned all of the 'old' imm helpfiles into myths before I left the pantheon. You might want to check books in Teron for the information.

Was Lorani the mortal female hellion that became the goddess or was Yenko the follower of Lorani that usurped her?
