What this means
If any seekers are looking to join one of the red religions, there's no way they can be invested without immortal intervention. Use PRAY once you've made contact with the faith and they consider you worthy of joining.
If any of the High Followers of the orange religions suddenly can't play any more, there is no-one to take over for them. Two people should be "favor 3" in each religion, unless the immortal patron is active enough to step in at short notice and tend to seekers/new leaders.
What to do?
If you're favor 3 of a orange religion, have a chat with those who are active in your faith and see if they want to be a 'backup' high follower. They don't have to change their character concept or anything, just be a backup person responsible for investing if the HF goes missing for a while.
If you're favor 2 and think you can be active enough to invest new members into the faith, speak up and your patron/caretaker immortal will promote you.
If you're just an average joe in one of the red religions, please consider stepping up to fill the void (especially if you're a priest or paladin/hellion). Refer to HELP GODS to see which religions accept the latter classes.
To summarize
With new players joining the game and learning about the various religions, as well as regulars who want to gain access to spells and more roleplay opportunities, I think we all need to concentrate and make sure that folks aren't left hanging in limbo just to join a religion.
