Some ideas I've been mulling over.

1) Change the reward timer to reset at midnight, as opposed to 24 hours after the last reward. Much more convenient, and makes it so that you don't find yourself spamming the reward command to ensure as little downtime as possible. It's been suggested by several players before.

2) A new command: reward history

It simply displays all the characters you've rewarded in chronological order, with the date and size of the reward. EX:

Code:
reward history

4/23: Bob (small)
4/29: Jill (medium)
5/1: John (medium)
5/4: Sub-Zero (small)


Since this might get pretty insanely long for older characters, perhaps it would only include the last thirty rewards.

Both of these are stellar ideas. My only suggestion would be to either have the midnight rule, or to change it to 20 hours instead of 24. Either way, it is annoying as hell to have to be on at the exact time to reward people, and sometimes it means people who play at certain hours get rewarded less.

I am highly in favor of changes to the reset timer - either making it just a bit less than 24 hours, or making it reset at a given time of day would be enormously helpful to PARs.

Reward history would also be convenient, but is not as important - with a text file you can at least reproduce the effect.

On topic: I'm not too sure about the midnight reset thing. The way it is makes it so that when you decide to reward someone, it will take another 24 hours before you can reward the next. The 'you have to log in at least twice' thing is rather silly, though.

As for the reward history, that would be a convenient addition, but as benzo said, nothing that you can't do with a txt file.

Yeah, maybe I miss out on the big party when I have the flag, but I have only twice received rewards from other PAR while having the flag, and I can assure you that it wasn't for any sort of one time, sit down and chat in the inn RP. In fact, I actually like to keep the flag away just so that I can reap the rewards without someone crying foul play.

I really think the new system has done well to keep most of the flags in the hands of trustworthy players. It is by far and away much better than the old system.
