Admittedly, I am not sure if your post was sarcastic (as indicated by the :drunk: comment), or if it was genuinely serious. I will assume it was serious and simply retort that Twitter, like many social networking sites, has the ability to reach a mass audience and thereby reach potential players. While it is tough to know if much will amount from it, it is one of many ventures we can take to bring in new players and increase the overall enjoyment of the game.

As a Comm grad mostly focused on social networking journalism, YES IT MATTERS! Way more effective than traditional advertising.

Will SK follow us back if we follow them? :D

jen - That tit-for-tat behaviour on Twitter never made sense to me. Randoms who follow you and ask you to follow them...

evena - I blame your lack of sarcasm tags :P :drunk:

This move was rather unexpected, considering the amount of, for lack of a better word, censorship that is exercised over other mediums. I can't post reviews about SK to the top mud sites, I can't view the flame-on general discussion forum section without logging in, I can't watch other people's links to external log sites and information forums go unmodified... even discussing SK over YIM is a bit of a faux pas.

Something as uncontrollable as twitter strikes me as a bold and refreshing move. Good luck, guys. I hope it goes well.
